Blueprints Market — Engineering Blueprint Systems

Important Digital Product Notice

Blueprints Market Products are primarily digital materials that may become accessible immediately after payment. Because digital files cannot ordinarily be returned in the same way as physical goods, change-of-mind refunds are generally unavailable after delivery or access.

This policy does not remove any mandatory right to a repair, replacement, refund, cancellation, price reduction, or other remedy where a Product is faulty, materially misdescribed, not supplied, or otherwise fails to meet applicable legal guarantees.

1. Purpose

This Refund Policy explains when refunds, replacements, corrections, re-delivery, cancellations, or other remedies may be available for Products and services supplied through Blueprints Market.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to digital blueprint packages, Product documents, CAD materials, technical files, licence materials, enterprise materials, commercial manufacturing materials, software or firmware files, and related digital services supplied through Blueprints Market, unless a Product-specific or signed agreement states otherwise.

3. Digital Product Nature

Products may be delivered by download link, secure file transfer, account access, email, cloud repository, licence portal, or another electronic method.

Once access is granted, the customer may be able to retain, copy, inspect, or use the digital content. That characteristic is relevant when assessing a change-of-mind request.

4. Change-of-Mind Purchases

Except where applicable law or a Product-specific promise requires otherwise, Blueprints Market does not ordinarily provide refunds merely because a customer:

  • Changes their mind.
  • No longer wants or needs the Product.
  • Decides not to proceed with a proposed project.
  • Finds a different Product or alternative supplier.
  • Did not read the Product description, licence terms, or Engineering Disclaimer.
  • Expected features or rights that were not advertised or granted.
  • Purchased the incorrect licence tier or Product through their own selection error.

5. Faulty Digital Products

Where a digital Product is corrupted, incomplete, inaccessible, defective, or otherwise fails to operate or open as reasonably expected, Blueprints Market may first attempt to:

  • Re-deliver the files.
  • Provide corrected or replacement files.
  • Repair the delivery or access problem.
  • Provide reasonable technical assistance.
  • Offer another secure delivery method.

Where the problem cannot be remedied within a reasonable time or is substantial, a refund, cancellation, replacement, or another remedy may be available under applicable law.

6. Products That Do Not Match Their Description

A Product should materially match the description provided at the time of purchase. If a Product is materially different from its description, the customer should promptly report:

  • The Product name and order reference.
  • The description relied upon.
  • The material difference identified.
  • Relevant screenshots, files, or supporting evidence.

Blueprints Market will assess whether correction, replacement, clarification, price adjustment, cancellation, or refund is appropriate.

7. Failed or Incomplete Delivery

If a verified order is not delivered, Blueprints Market will ordinarily attempt re-delivery or provide another secure access method at no additional charge.

If verified delivery cannot reasonably be completed, an appropriate remedy, including a refund where required or appropriate, may be provided.

8. Duplicate Payments

A verified duplicate charge for the same customer and Product may be reversed or refunded. Customers should report duplicate transactions promptly and provide:

  • Order or payment references.
  • The payment date and amount.
  • The email address used for the purchase.
  • Evidence showing the duplicate charge.

9. Accidental Purchase of the Wrong Product

A mistaken Product selection does not automatically create a refund right after delivery. Before downloading or accessing the Product, the customer should contact support immediately.

Where access has not been used and the mistake can be verified, Blueprints Market may, at its discretion and subject to law, offer an exchange, account credit, licence correction, or refund.

10. Licence-Tier Errors

If a customer purchases the wrong licence tier, Blueprints Market may permit an upgrade, replacement agreement, additional payment, or correction where commercially and legally appropriate.

A downgrade or refund is not automatic after licensed rights, Restricted Materials, onboarding, or controlled access have been supplied.

11. Personal and Standard Digital Licences

Fees for ordinary digital licences are generally non-refundable after access or delivery, except where a mandatory remedy applies or Blueprints Market expressly agrees otherwise.

12. Enterprise Licence Fees

Enterprise fees are governed by the applicable Enterprise Licence Agreement and completed schedules. Refund rights may depend on:

  • Payment milestones.
  • Work already performed.
  • Onboarding or support already supplied.
  • Delivery of Restricted Materials.
  • Activated users, sites, projects, or deployments.
  • Termination provisions and mandatory law.

13. Commercial Manufacturing Licence Fees

Commercial manufacturing fees, royalties, deposits, onboarding amounts, and technical-service charges are governed by the signed Commercial Manufacturing Licence.

Those amounts are not automatically refundable because a licensee changes strategy, fails to obtain finance, does not complete certification, or decides not to manufacture.

14. Custom Work and Professional Services

Custom engineering support, document preparation, integration, consulting, training, modification, or other professional services may involve non-refundable work already performed.

Any cancellation, refund, or credit will be determined under the applicable proposal, statement of work, signed agreement, and mandatory law.

15. Conceptual Engineering Status

A refund is not ordinarily available merely because a customer later discovers that a Product requires professional engineering validation, site-specific design, testing, certification, consent, approval, or modification, where that conceptual or pre-certification status was clearly disclosed before purchase.

16. Compatibility and Customer Environment

Unless compatibility was expressly promised, a refund is not ordinarily available because a Product is incompatible with a customer’s software, hardware, operating system, CAD platform, hosting environment, security system, supplier, workflow, or third-party service.

Customers should verify technical requirements before purchase.

17. Customer Modification or Misuse

A remedy may be unavailable where the problem was caused by:

  • Unauthorised modification.
  • Incorrect installation or configuration.
  • Failure to follow supplied instructions.
  • Use outside the licence scope.
  • Corruption or damage caused by the customer’s systems.
  • Use of obsolete, altered, or incomplete files.
  • Third-party conduct outside Blueprints Market’s responsibility.

18. Product Updates and Revisions

A later Product revision, correction, enhancement, or new edition does not automatically entitle an earlier purchaser to a refund, free upgrade, or replacement unless the applicable licence or Product terms provide otherwise.

19. Sale Pricing and Promotions

A later discount, promotion, bundle, or price change does not ordinarily create a right to a partial refund or price adjustment for an earlier purchase.

20. Gift, Promotional, or Complimentary Access

Complimentary, promotional, bonus, or gifted Products have no refundable purchase price. Any paid component of a bundle will be assessed under the applicable terms.

21. Subscription Products

If Blueprints Market offers subscription Products or services, the applicable page or subscription agreement will state the billing cycle, renewal, cancellation, notice, access, and refund rules.

Cancellation ordinarily stops future renewal and does not automatically refund a current period already supplied, subject to applicable law.

22. Pre-Orders and Deposits

Pre-orders, reservation fees, deposits, and staged payments are governed by the applicable Product page or signed agreement, including whether an amount is refundable, credited, earned on receipt, or applied to work already performed.

23. Taxes, Currency, and Payment Fees

Refund amounts may be affected by taxes, currency conversion, payment-provider charges, bank charges, or withholding rules where permitted by law.

Blueprints Market does not control exchange-rate differences or fees charged directly by a customer’s bank.

24. Refund Method

Approved refunds will ordinarily be returned to the original payment method. Another method may be used where the original method is unavailable, the payment provider requires it, or the Parties agree otherwise.

25. Refund Processing Time

Blueprints Market will initiate an approved refund within a reasonable period. The customer’s bank or payment provider may require additional time to display the credit.

26. Account Credit or Exchange

Where lawful and agreed, Blueprints Market may offer account credit, a Product exchange, a licence upgrade, a corrected package, or another remedy instead of a cash refund.

A customer is not required to accept an alternative where applicable law gives them a right to a refund.

27. Refund Request Information

A refund or remedy request should include:

  • Customer name and contact details.
  • Order, invoice, or transaction reference.
  • Product name and licence tier.
  • Purchase and delivery date.
  • A clear explanation of the issue.
  • Relevant screenshots, error messages, files, or supporting evidence.
  • The remedy requested.

28. Verification

Blueprints Market may request information reasonably necessary to verify:

  • The purchaser’s identity or authority.
  • The transaction.
  • Delivery and access history.
  • The alleged fault or discrepancy.
  • Duplicate charges.
  • Licence and usage status.
  • Whether Restricted Materials were accessed or supplied.

29. Assessment Process

Blueprints Market may investigate the request, reproduce the issue, review transaction and delivery records, request additional information, offer remediation, and consider the applicable law and agreements.

30. Fraud and Abuse Prevention

Blueprints Market may refuse a discretionary refund where there is reasonable evidence of:

  • Fraud or payment abuse.
  • False or misleading information.
  • Unauthorised account use.
  • Repeated attempts to obtain Products without payment.
  • Use, copying, redistribution, or exploitation followed by a change-of-mind request.
  • Manipulated delivery, access, or transaction evidence.

This does not remove a mandatory legal remedy.

31. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers should contact Blueprints Market before initiating a chargeback so that the issue can be investigated.

Blueprints Market may provide the payment provider with relevant transaction, delivery, licence, access, correspondence, and refund records when responding to a dispute.

Blueprints Market will not penalise a customer merely for exercising a lawful payment or consumer right, but fraudulent or abusive disputes may result in suspension, evidence preservation, debt recovery, or other lawful action.

32. Effect of a Refund

Where a purchase is fully refunded or cancelled, the associated licence and access rights may end. The customer may be required to:

  • Stop using the Product.
  • Delete or return downloaded and Restricted Materials.
  • Remove copies from authorised users, contractors, repositories, and devices.
  • Confirm deletion or destruction where reasonably requested.

Mandatory archival, accounting, evidence, or legal-retention obligations may still apply.

33. Partial Refunds

A partial refund or price reduction may be appropriate where only part of a bundle, service, licence period, or deliverable is affected and the customer retains value from the remainder.

34. Business-to-Business Transactions

Business, enterprise, government, OEM, and manufacturing transactions are governed by their applicable signed agreements and may contain negotiated refund, cancellation, milestone, termination, liability, and contracting-out provisions.

No public Website statement alone excludes mandatory law or creates a business-to-business contracting-out arrangement.

35. Consumer Guarantees and Mandatory Rights

Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies a mandatory legal guarantee, right, remedy, duty, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, remedies may include repair, correction, re-performance, replacement, cancellation, refund, price reduction, or compensation.

36. Customers Outside New Zealand

Customers outside New Zealand may have mandatory rights under their local law. This Policy applies subject to those rights where they legally apply.

37. No Automatic Waiver

Granting a discretionary refund, exchange, credit, or exception on one occasion does not require Blueprints Market to provide the same outcome in another case.

39. Document Priority

Where a signed Product-specific, Enterprise, Commercial Manufacturing, or other negotiated agreement contains refund or cancellation terms, that agreement governs the relevant transaction to the extent of an express conflict, subject to mandatory law.

40. Changes to This Policy

Alpha & Omega Limited may update this Refund Policy to reflect changes in Products, payment systems, delivery methods, business operations, or applicable law.

The version in effect when a transaction occurs will generally govern that transaction, unless a signed agreement or mandatory law provides otherwise.

41. Governing Law

This Policy is governed by the laws of New Zealand, subject to mandatory laws and rights that apply in another relevant jurisdiction.
